Like a guardian, the Castel Boccale rises on the left, a lookout tower commissioned by the Medici in the 16th century. In front of you, the open sea with its islands: Gorgona, the easiest to recognize because it has the profile of a reclining woman, Capraia with its elongated shape, and in the background, the Corsica finger, clearly visible on clear days.
The beach is free, so you can choose whether to bring your own beach umbrella or rent one from the 100% Livorno-made baywatch, who manage it and collaborate with Miramare. They have everything you need for a day at the beach, including pedal boats, canoes, and stand-up paddleboards.
Want to enjoy the view from above and indulge your lazy side without feeling guilty? We can accommodate you immediately and even give you the choice between our panoramic terraces, Promenade and Cavalleggeri: the first is perfect if you want to feel the sand under your feet, and the second has a wooden platform instead of sand.
Both terraces are near the staircase leading to the sea. Lie in the sun, tan, take a nap under the umbrella, read a book, choose a photo to post, and if you’re on Cavalleggeri, pamper your dog, because here, he can be with you. All without any rush.
